Cardiac Image

Cardiovascular magnetic resonance

It is an imaging technique for the non-invasive study of the heart, innocuous as it does not use radiation, well tolerated and safe. It allows to study in a single exploration the function and structure of the heart. It offers a detailed image of the heart, including cavities and valves.

Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography (CCTA)

It uses an injection of contrast material with iodine and the scan by computed tomography (CT), to examine the arteries that supply blood to the heart, and to determine if they have narrowed due to the accumulation of atherosclerotic plaque.

Agatston Score

It show the presence of calcium in the coronary arteries, that is an indicator of coronary atherosclerotic disease.

Computed tomography (CT)

Multidetector computer tomography is the suitable technique for the coronary calcium measurement.



Echocardiogram (Echo)

It is a test that provides images of the heart, to determine the function of the heart and study of heart conditions.

Stress echocardiogram

It is a diagnostic procedure to evaluate the heart under conditions of physical exertion, which is artificially created by a treadmill or a bicycle.

Dobutamine stress echocardiogram

It is a diagnostic procedure that can be used when the doctor wants to evaluate the heart muscle under physical stress, when the patient's physical exercise is not an option due to their clinical status.

24 hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM))

It is a test to determine and track hypertensive patients that allow to study the sudden causes of tension that can cause symptoms of repetition.


It is a complementary exploration in the study of all types of cardiac arrhythmias and in some cases of coronary disease.

It is a routine test that is done for the electrical activity of the heart.

Cardiac stress test

It is a diagnostic test that studies the response of the heart to a situation of artificially created physical effort (treadmill, bicycle) or to the provocation of a cardiac effort for the administration of the drugs.




Diagnostic technique of medicine, which consists in the introduction of a camera inside a tube called an endoscope, through a natural orifice or a surgical incision; for the visualization of a hollow organ or body cavity.

Interventional Cardiology

CDI has specialists in interventional cardiology, performing coronary angiography and stenting angioplasty; placement of closure devices for different congenital heart diseases, and patients with arrhythmias, or atrial fibrillation.
